How do I configure Rediffmail on Android and iPhone?

Set up Rediffmail on Android Gmail app, iPhone Mail, or the official Rediffmail app.

Setting Up Rediffmail on Mobile

### Option 1 — Official Rediffmail App

  • Android: Google Play Store → Rediffmail → Sign in
  • iPhone: App Store → Rediffmail → Sign in

### Option 2 — Android Gmail App

1. Gmail → Profile picture → Add another account → Other

2. Enter email → Personal (IMAP)

3. Incoming: imap.rediffmail.com:993 (SSL)

4. Outgoing: smtp.rediffmail.com:465 (SSL)

5. Username: full email address

### Option 3 — iPhone Mail App

1. Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account

2. Incoming: imap.rediffmail.com | Port 993 | SSL On

3. Outgoing: smtp.rediffmail.com | Port 465 | SSL On

4. Username and password: your Rediffmail credentials

### Troubleshooting

  • Can't send: Use SMTP port 465, not 25
  • Password keeps asking: Re-enter password; check account not locked
  • IMAP not enabled: Login to webmail → Settings → POP3/IMAP → Enable IMAP
