How do I configure Rediffmail in Outlook?

Set up Rediffmail in Microsoft Outlook using IMAP or POP3 settings.

Configuring Rediffmail in Outlook

### IMAP Settings (Recommended)

  • **Incoming (IMAP):** imap.rediffmail.com | Port 993 | SSL
  • **Outgoing (SMTP):** smtp.rediffmail.com | Port 465 | SSL
  • **Username:** full email address

### POP3 Settings

  • **Incoming (POP3):** pop.rediffmail.com | Port 995 | SSL
  • **Outgoing (SMTP):** smtp.rediffmail.com | Port 465 | SSL

### Setup Steps

1. Outlook → File → Add Account

2. Enter email → Advanced options → Let me set up manually

3. Choose IMAP

4. Enter server settings above

5. Click Connect

### If You Get an Authentication Error

  • Use your **full email address** as username (not just the prefix)
  • Verify password at mail.rediff.com first
  • Enable IMAP in webmail: Settings → POP3/IMAP Access → Enable IMAP
