My website is down — what should I do?

Quick steps to diagnose and fix a website that is not loading.

Website Not Loading — Troubleshooting Guide

### Step 1 — Check if it's just you

Visit [downforeveryoneorjustme.com](https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/) or [isitdownrightnow.com](https://isitdownrightnow.com/) and enter your domain.

  • **Down for everyone** → the issue is with your hosting/server → contact us immediately
  • **Just for you** → likely a local DNS or browser cache issue

### Step 2 — Clear your browser cache

Press **Ctrl+Shift+Delete** (Windows) or **Cmd+Shift+Delete** (Mac), clear cache and cookies, then try again.

### Step 3 — Flush DNS (Windows)

Open Command Prompt and type:

```
ipconfig /flushdns
```

### Step 4 — Check for recent changes

  • Did you recently change DNS/nameservers? DNS propagation takes 4–48 hours.
  • Did you recently deploy a code change? Roll it back and test.
  • Is your SSL certificate expired? Check in your browser's padlock icon.

### Step 5 — Check cPanel / Error Logs

Log in to cPanel → **Errors** or **Raw Access Logs** to see if there's a PHP error or 500 error.

Contact Support

If you cannot resolve the issue, open a support ticket with:

  • Your domain name
  • Error message you see (e.g., 500, 404, "site can't be reached")
  • When the issue started
  • Any recent changes made

We typically resolve hosting issues within **1–4 hours**.
