What happens if I miss a renewal payment?

What happens to your domain or hosting if a renewal payment is missed — and how to recover.

Renewal Reminder Emails

webzworld sends renewal reminders at:

  • 60 days before expiry
  • 30 days before expiry
  • 7 days before expiry
  • On the expiry date

Ensure your registered email is current and check your spam folder for these notices.

Grace Period

### Hosting

After the expiry date, your hosting account enters a 7-day grace period. During this period, your website may go offline but files are preserved. Renewing during grace period restores service within 1 hour.

### Domains

After domain expiry:

  • Days 1–30: 30-day grace period. You can renew at the standard price.
  • Days 31–45: Redemption period. Renewal fee plus a redemption fee applies.
  • After Day 45: Domain may be released for public registration by others.

How to Renew

1. Log in to your client portal

2. Go to Services or Domains

3. Click Renew next to the expired service

4. Complete payment

Or email billing@webzworld.com with your domain/service name for an invoice.

Data Recovery After Expiry

If your hosting expired and files were deleted, contact support immediately. We keep server-side backups for 30 days after account termination.

Auto-Renewal

Enable auto-renewal from your account to avoid accidental lapses. We will charge your saved payment method 7 days before the expiry date.
