ShopNest — Multi-Vendor E-Commerce Marketplace

The client had a WooCommerce site that crashed regularly under load and struggled with vendor management. They needed a custom-built marketplace that could handle 50,000+ SKUs, automated payouts to vendors, and a mobile-first shopping experience.

We rebuilt the platform from scratch on a headless commerce architecture: Next.js storefront connected to a Node.js + PostgreSQL backend. Stripe Connect handles vendor payouts. An Elasticsearch index powers sub-second product search across 50K+ SKUs. Redis caching ensures the homepage loads in under 800 ms under peak load. A bespoke vendor dashboard lets sellers manage inventory, orders, and analytics.
