When Should You Upgrade?
**Upgrade your hosting plan if:**
- Your website loads slowly during peak hours
- You frequently hit CPU or memory limits (you'll see 508 Resource Limit errors)
- Your monthly traffic exceeds the plan's visitor estimate
- You need more storage for media files
- You want better performance guarantees (SLA uptime)
**Downgrade if:**
- You launched a new site and overestimated traffic
- Your current plan has resources you consistently don't use
- You want to reduce costs during a low-traffic period

How to Request a Plan Change
1. Log in to your webzworld client portal
2. Go to **Services → My Services**
3. Select the hosting service you want to change
4. Click **Upgrade / Downgrade**
5. Choose the new plan and confirm
Upgrades take effect immediately. Your billing is prorated — you pay only for the remaining days of your billing cycle on the new plan.
Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date to avoid service disruption.
Migrating from Shared to VPS
If you are moving from shared hosting to a VPS, the process is different. Our team will:
1. Clone your website to the new VPS
2. Test that everything works correctly
3. Update your DNS to point to the new server
4. Decommission the old shared hosting
